Federal Highway blocked by Watson truck fire

ACT Fire & Rescue tonight is responding to a large truck fire at Watson.

The Federal Highway has been blocked in both directions.

Update to follow.

Fire crews arrived to find a pantec style truck fully engulfed in flames.

The truck is located on a dirt track underneath a Federal Highway overpass.

The fire has now been extinguished.

Two northbound lanes of the Federal Highway are currently closed. Southbound lanes are currently not affected.
