ACT Fire & Rescue is responding to reports of multiple car fires in a scrap metal yard, Lithgow Street, Fyshwick.

ACT Fire & Rescue arrived to find four cars well alight.
Firefighters used foam solution to knock down the fires and are currently continuing to extinguish the fires in all four vehicles.
The vehicles are separated from others in the yard and no structures are damaged.

Firefighters have extinguished the fire and are beginning to separate the cars whilst monitoring for any hot spots.
The fire, which is not suspicious, began in a car baler before spreading to nearby vehicles.
ACT Fire & Rescue had three pumpers in attendance and a commander.
