Human body found in Jerrabomberra Creek – UPDATE – It was a pig

ACT Policing is responding to a report of a body in a creek in Symonston.

About 2.15pm today (Sunday, October 19) four men who were fishing located what appears to be a body.

Police were called and are currently at the scene at Jerrabomberra Creek.


UPDATE: ACT Policing has identified the body that was located in the creek earlier today (Sunday, October 19).

AFP Forensics Services attended and removed a tarp which was concealing the body, locating a deceased pig.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
