Do you know anything about last night’s fire in Reid?

INVESTIGATIONS are underway after ACT Policing attended a unit fire in Reid overnight.

ACT Fire and Rescue and police arrived at the Kogarah Lane unit around 9:30pm last night (Wednesday, 10 September) and found a large amount of smoke emanating from the unit.

Following an analysis of the scene once the fire had been extinguished, police and fire investigators believe the fire was deliberately lit and deemed it suspicious.

The circumstances surrounding the fire are being investigated by Criminal Investigations detectives.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have information about the fire, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously.
