The media on fire at Parliament House

FIREFIGHTERS are currently on scene at Parliament House, Capital Hill following a small fire with electrical equipment in the media room.

Fire was extinguished when ACT Fire & Rescue arrived and crews are now monitoring the air quality.

Immediate area in the building has been evacuated as a precaution.

No injuries.
