Mike’s happy with his Mr Fluffy valuation

THERE has been grumbling and concern from the Mr Fluffy homeowners about the valuation methodology. Fortunately Mike has been in touch as one of the first to complete the process letting us know he got a fair price and a bit about how it worked:

We just formally received our two valuations on our Property from API. API are contracted to do the valuations on behalf of the ACT Gov’t. The big lesson for us – it was very fair – so there doesn’t seem to have been any need to panic. My wife and I have had what we though to be the market value of our home in-mind for some time, noting we finished a $200,000 extension in Feb. Ironically, each valuation was the same amount either side of this value, so the average is spot on what we thought our home was worth. Staff of both the ACT Asbestos Taskforce and the API have been very patient and extremely helpful throughout this process.
