Vinyl fair to mark special day

TO celebrate International Record Store Day, Canberra’s Landspeed Records is holding a second-hand vinyl fair in Garema Place, Civic, from 10am on Saturday, April 21.

The fair will include more than 2000 used LPs including rock, pop, indie, soul, jazz, blues, hip hop, metal, punk and ska titles.

International Record Store Day is a celebration of independently owned music stores with physical locations where customers can browse the racks and talk to expert staff about new music and artists. Metallica kicked off the first Record Store Day in 2008 by playing at Rasputin Music in San Francisco.
