Monash Islamic Centre vandalised

ABOUT 6pm today (13 April), police received a report of damage and vandalism to the exterior and interior of the Islamic Centre on Clive Steele Street, Monash. The cost of the damage is yet to be determined.

ACT Policing Tuggeranong Patrol members and AFP Forensics Services attended and examined the damaged. Investigations are ongoing.

The damage may have occurred between the hours of 7am and 6pm today.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything suspicious in the area of Clive Steele Street today to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
