QUESTACON’S popular adults-only SciNight returns on 21 November with a rocking evening of geology and crystals, science and snowflakes. Enjoy comedy and cabaret with ‘Rock Hard – The Geology Cabaret’ and ‘Rocks in my Head’, which look at why geology and dating are similar, and what to do when someone has rocks in their head.
Watch Questacon’s Excited Particles grow snowflakes right before your eyes or set off exploding volcanos, or taste crystals with liquid nitrogen ice-cream demonstrations.
Questacon’s interactive galleries will be open with displays from the National Dinosaur Museum and Geoscience Australia. Megabites Bar and Café will be open throughout the evening.
Feel the Earth move as you rock on at Questacon’s SciNight!
6.00–10.00 pm Friday 21 November, 2014
Please note: this is an 18+ event, Tickets are $10 at the door, Q Club members free
