ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate a missing New Zealand man.

The 27-year-old man, Sam Masters, was reported missing on 16 March 2014 by his family in New Zealand.

Sam has been residing in Australia since 2007 and in Canberra since 2012. He was due to return home to New Zealand in January 2014 but never left Australia.

His family became concerned when he did not return home and they did not hear from him. Police hold concerns for Sam’s welfare.

He was last seen by former work colleagues on 12 February 2014 in Florey.

Sam is described as 170cm tall (5’7”), with a slim build, dark brown collar length hair and hazel eyes. He is likely to be sporting a beard.

Sam has two tattoos; a flaming eye on the right side of his chest and ‘WAIDAI’ in Gothic script on the lower half of his stomach.

Anyone who has seen Sam or knows his location is asked to call police on 131-444.
