police

ACT Policing has extradited a 28-year-old man from Perth last night (Wednesday, November 12) in relation to sexual assault offences which occurred in August this year.

On Monday (November 10) Western Australian Police arrested the man on an ACT First Instant warrant. The man appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday where his extradition to the ACT was granted.

Members from Criminal Investigations Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team travelled to Perth and escorted the man back to the ACT yesterday evening where he was lodged in the ACT Watch House.

The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today on a number of sexual assault offences.
