TERRITORY And Municipal Services have advised that their planned kangaroo cull has been delayed by court action.

ACAT ordered that the Territory not enforce the licence issued by the Conservator of Flora and Fauna to undertake the conservation cull until 9 am on Wednesday 21 May 2014. The Tribunal will reconvene on Tuesday 20 May 2014 to consider whether to issue a subsequent order.

“The eight grassland and woodland sites previously closed for the program will reopen and remain open until further notice,” a spokesperson for TAMS said.
