Suspicious death in Dunlop

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious death in Dunlop which occurred earlier today (Friday, October 17).

About 5:40pm police received a call to attend a home in Dexion Place, Dunlop. On arrival, a 56-year-old woman was found deceased and a crime scene was established.

ACT Ambulance Service also attended the scene. Forensic Services are conducting an examination.

Due to the nature of the injuries, the death is being treated as a homicide and is currently being investigated by detectives from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations.

A man and a woman are assisting police with their enquiries.

Shoobridge Circuit is currently closed to traffic, and will be for some time. However, local residents are permitted access.
