TABLE Tennis, like ukuleles, is one of those things that’s oddly very cool at the moment.

Either if you’re a long term fan, or leaping adroitly onto the bandwagon, this weekend provides a great opportunity to learn more with the ACT Open Table Tennis Championships getting underway at Greenway’s Archery Club Indoor Hall.

On Saturday 23 August the program features age groups from Under 13 to Over 80. On Sunday 24 August the big guns will be firing when the Open events kick off at the same time. You can also cheer the contestants in the Athletes with a Disability (AWD) category.

There’s more information on the Table Tennis ACT website.
