Teens caught after childcare centre burnouts

TWO 17-year-old boys have been accused of doing burnouts yesterday afternoon in a carpark only metres away from Gungahlin Early Childhood Centre, which was open at the time.

Police-afp-cops-9720-400x266Police attended the childcare centre at about 2pm and observed tyre marks in the gravel car park.

Two offending vehicles were indentified through further investigations, and seized under Section 5 of the Road Transport Act.

The two teens were summonsed to appear before the ACT Children’s Court at a later date.
