Woman robbed at knifepoint in Curtin

A WOMAN was robbed at knifepoint by two men in Curtin early this morning. 

About 6.15am the 41-year-old woman was at Curtin shops when she was approached by two males, producing a knife and demanding her purse.

The woman complied with the demand and the men left the area in a car, a white Kia Cerato, bearing NSW registration BS83RX.

The first offender is described as of Aboriginal appearance, with dark skin, approximately 173cm (5’8”) tall, with a thin build and wearing jeans and a light coloured ‘hoody’.

The second offender is described as having dark skin, approximately 168cm (5’6”) tall, with a ‘chubby’ build, jeans and a light coloured ‘hoody’.

The car used in the aggravated robbery had been stolen earlier this morning from Florey.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen the stolen car or has information about the aggravated robbery or the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or viawww.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
