TERRITORY and Municipal Services are putting on a festival in Civic on Sunday week (10 May).
The event is to launch the new Bunda Street shareway in the city. The family entertainment includes:
- food tasting
- a pampering zone for mums including massages, hair styling, make up touch-ups, tea and more
- cooking demonstrations
- live music
- a bike rodeo and bike maintenance workshop
- music
- market stalls
- street performers
- face painting and balloon animals
- giant oversized games, street chalk art and more.
There will be heaps of giveaways, competitions and prizes including a Mother’s Day hamper containing over $2,000 worth of prizes including beauty products, restaurant vouchers, chocolates, sparkling wine and smorgasbord of other treats!
Kids are encouraged to get involved with colouring competitions.
