ActewAGL gets the Government contract

actewagl house

ACTEWAGL has entered into a contract to supply the energy needs for most of the Commonwealth Government sites in the ACT following a highly competitive tender process.

Commencing on 1 July 2016, this four year contract means that ActewAGL will be providing electricity to 72 Commonwealth Government Departments and Agencies based in our region, including major sites such as the Department of Defence, the Australian Taxation Office, Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial and the National Museum of Australia.

“This win is fantastic news for ActewAGL and our region as it demonstrates that our competitive pricing and local service provision is better than the national standard,” ActewAGL General Manager Retail Ayesha Razzaq said.
