Another severe thunderstorm warning for the ACT – CANCELLED

THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT for heavy rainfall, damaging wind and large hail.

Areas liklely to be impacted include Belconnen and Hall by 6pm.

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has units ready to respond to reports of storm or flood damage.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500

The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled the detailed Severe Thunderstorm Warning for West Belconnen and Hall, however, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT remains in place.

No calls for help been received by the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES)

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) remind residents to ensure their properties are StormSafe. Advice can be found on the ACTSES section of the ESA website – www.esa.act.gov.au.
