ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Latham yesterday (Tuesday, March 17).
About 4.30pm, a male entered the Handy Mart store, located at the Latham Shops on Dalley Crescent. The male was carrying a knife and demanded cash from a staff member.
The staff member complied with the man’s demands and the offender fled the store along with a mobile phone and iPad.
The male offender is described as being in his early 20’s and was wearing black pants and a hooded top.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously. Police remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
