‘Grease’ is the word this week

“GREASE” is the word this week as Gungahlin College stages the famous musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey with a cast of 30 Year 11 and 12 students.

They’re all there– Rydell High’s “Burger Palace Boys,” the “Pink Ladies,” and the romantic leads, Danny and Sandy.

Favourite songs include “Greased Lightnin”, “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re the One that I Want.”

Friday, September 21 is a theme night where audience members can dress as their favourite characters and sing along with selected songs, with a prize for the best dressed character.

This is Gungahlin College’s first major musical production performed by the foundation Year 11 and 12 students.

“Grease” at  Gungahlin College Theatre, until September 22, bookings to 6142 1000 or email maria.stewart@ed.act.edu.au
