Carville murder investigation ongoing

ACT Policing Homicide Team is continuing its investigation of the circumstances surrounding the murder of Evatt man Mr Andrew Carville and are again appealing for information from members of the public who may have knowledge of the circumstances resulting in the murder of Mr Carville.

Police investigations have established that Mr Carville was last seen alive during the evening of 4 November 2015 at his home in Evatt.

He was last seen by a number of persons who were assisting an ex-housemate move property from his residence.

Police have subsequently executed a number of search warrants, with several items of interest being seized for forensic examination. A number of persons of interest have been identified, including residents and those persons assisting with the move.

Police investigations have established the 1986 cream coloured Toyota LandCruiser recovered from the Molonglo Gorge was seen at the residence of Mr Carville shortly before his disappearance.

The owner of this vehicle has been interviewed by police and subject to a number of forensic procedures. At this time he cannot be eliminated as a suspect in the investigation.
