Chenoeh and Gregor to run the 2016 Fringe Festival

JOY Burch says Chenoeh Miller, who produced the highly successful 2015 Fringe Festival, has been reappointed as the event producer in 2016 and 2017.

“I am very pleased that Ms Miller will be back in 2016 and 2017 to produce the Fringe Festival, particularly following the success of this year’s festival and the engaging program Ms Miller curated,” Joy said.

“Ms Miller has a demonstrated ability to produce a successful festival and has established strong connections to the ACT arts community, and has shown herself to be an outstanding Fringe Festival producer by celebrating our city’s love of the arts and diverse cultures.

“The Fringe has been a wonderful complement to the National Multicultural Festival for a number of years, and will return alongside the National Multicultural Festival again in 2016 and 2017.

“Ms Miller’s extensive experience in alternative arts activities, and her vision to curate an exciting program, will ensure that once again give the Fringe Festival has an important place in Canberra’s festival calendar.”

Chenoeh has told “CityNews” that she plans to co-direct the festivals with her co-applicant Gregor Murray.

The Canberra Multicultural Fringe will be on from 13 – 15 February 2016. More information about the program will be available in early 2016.
