Constable Kenny turns 40 today!

LONGSTANDING feature of the Canberra community, Constable Kenny Koala, is celebrating his 40th birthday today.

Constable Kenny has been a visible figure in the ACT educating Canberra children on how to stay safe.

Chief Police Officer for the ACT Rudi Lammers will plant a tree at the Botanic Gardens to commemorate Constable Kenny Koala’s contribution to the Canberra community for the past 40 years.

I made Kenny a local TV and Radio Legend. Did my invitation to his 40th get lost? Retired S/Sgt. Bill Mackey No 694. (Kenny’s Sgt. Bully.)

I handled him for nearly 4 years and was the last one to do him on television. Somehow my invitation got lost as well. Retired S/C Mike Stevenson
