Discount dogs at the RSPCA

TO help celebrate RSPCA ACT’s 60th birthday, the price of adult dog adoptions has been reduced to $60, ending this Saturday.

RSPCA ACT Tammy Ven Dange says she would like to encourage members of the public to help celebrate RSPCA ACT’s 60th birthday by considering adopting this week.

“Our waiting list for dogs that owners no longer want has more than doubled in the last twelve months because of the lack of kennel space here at the shelter,” Tammy said.

“We would love to help more animals. So what a great way for someone to find their new furry family member this week than to take advantage of our special birthday adoption price!

The RSPCA currently has 14 dogs waiting to go home this week, with many more to be available before the weekend.

“While the adoption special is focussed on dogs because of our lack of kennel space, we definitely have cats, rabbits, birds and other animals also available for adoption right now,” Tammy said.

Each dog available for adoption is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

All animals available for adoption can be viewed at adoptapet.com.au
