Drugs and loot in Holt

police

A 33-year-old Holt woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, March 23) charged with traffic in a controlled drug and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime following her arrest on Saturday.

About 11.20am on Saturday (March 21), members from ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations executed a Drugs of Dependence Act warrant on the woman’s home.

During the search of the home police located a number of bags containing what is suspected to be methylamphetamine and a sum of cash which were seized.

Police also seized drug paraphernalia and a large amount of jewellery and other items suspected of being stolen property.

At the end of the search warrant, the woman was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House where she was charged.
