Eddies House going under the hammer this Saturday

ST Edmund’s old boys have built a house and now they’re going to auction it to fund scholarships to their alma mater.

“It is inspirational to see the commitment the old boys have to the College and to the traditions it was founded on,” says Paul Scholtens of the St Edmund’s College Scholarship Fund.

“The current demand for financial assistance from disadvantaged families in our community exceeds The Scholarship Fund’s current capacity and requires additional capital to continue its work; that’s how the Eddie’s House Project was born. Construction began in July 2014 with completion this month and will be auctioned off by Old Boy Mario Sanfrancesco from Peter Blackshaw Real Estate this Saturday at 10am.” Says Paul Scholtens.

Mario Sanfrancesco says “As an old boy it’s a privilege to be asked to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative. It’s also wonderful to be part of a combined effort and group of likeminded individuals who also support the future of young men at St Edmund’s. The finished product is superb and the entire team at Peter Blackshaw Real Estate are hoping to see strong interest in the property with the view to generating as much money as possible for disadvantaged families and provide opportunities they deserve.”

The Ngunnawal property can be found on AllHomes.
