Further road closures around Canberra

THE ACT Government is advising road users that Point Hut Crossing is closed due to recent wet weather.

The following crossings and roads are still closed due to wet weather or snow:

  • Sunshine Crossing
  • Angle Crossing
  • Oaks Estate Crossing
  • Mount Franklin Road closed at Aggie Gate
  • Boboyan Road is closed to all traffic except four-wheel-drive vehicles from where the road becomes dirt

UPDATE: TAMS advise some crossings will be open for the evening commute:

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists that Oaks Estate Crossing and Point Hut Crossing will open, under supervision, during tonight’s (Wednesday 26 August 2015) evening peak.

To assist motorists returning home, both crossings will be open today from 4 pm till 7 pm in both directions with TAMS officers closely supervising operations to ensure safety remains paramount.

Both crossings will be closed if required during this three hour period.
