José Carbo here for ‘Musical Soirée’

THERE’LL be a small, FREE, taste of this year’s “Voices in the Forest” at Wesley Music Centre when dramatic baritone José Carbó appears this Friday in what they’re calling “a special musical soirée”.

Argentine-born Carbó has built his impressive career here in Australia and recently joined the roster of principal artists at The Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Several riveting performances by Carbó this year for Opera Australia have been in “Rigoletto”, “La Traviata” and, most spectacularly, in “Don Carlos.”

“Be warned …. this is a sampler and you will want to hear more,” they’re saying.

José Carbó at Wesley Music Centre, 20 National Circuit Forrest, 5.45 to 7 pm, Friday, November 6.

FREE but bookings to wesleymc@music.wesleycanberra.org.au by Nov 5, please mark the subject header “José Carbó soirée”.
