Lewd behaviour around Erindale Drive

ACT Policing has received three reports of a suspicious man near the Erindale Drive underpass this morning (19 June).

About 8am, a teenage girl noticed a man walking through the Erindale Drive underpass between Monash and Oxley, behaving in a lewd manner. A short time later, another teenage girl noticed a similar man loitering in the same area. The man appeared to follow the teenager a short distance. A short time later, a third teenage girl reported being followed a short distance in the same area by a man of similar appearance.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 5’8” and 6’ (170cm to 183cm) tall and aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a combination of black and pink clothing, including a hooded jumper.

As a result ACT Policing has increased patrols in the area.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed a similar incident to report the matter to police on 131-444.

Information can be provided anonymously. Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
