LUTON Tuggeranong directors Richard Luton and Christine Bassingthwaighte have announced Luton Tuggeranong’s purchase of LJ Hooker Tuggeranong.

They say the purchase will result in Luton becoming the largest real estate office in Tuggeranong.

Richard Luton believes the purchase of the highly regarded business will increase Luton’s ability to offer outstanding real estate services to residents of the Tuggeranong valley. The strategic purchase is also in line with Luton’s vision to be the most highly regarded real estate brand in the Canberra region.

Luton plans to move its existing office into the state-of-the-art LJ Hooker premises which has been rebranded.

Existing LJ Hooker directors Rob Matheson, Dan Cooper, and Bill Ramey will be staying with the business. Rob Matheson says all current LJ Hooker employees have been offered employment with Luton and said his team were excited to join a business where the focus is on Canberra and its people.

Luton Tuggeranong will employ more than 35 real estate professionals and the purchase means Luton now employs 150 people Canberra-wide across eight offices.
