Million paws walk this Sunday shooting for a world record

DOG lovers from all around will gather on the grass at Stage 88 this Sunday to beat the Guinness World Records title for the ‘Most Dogs Wearing Bandanas’ and walk around Lake Burley Griffin to help fight animal cruelty.

The day features an array of activities, including:

  • a scenic walk around Lake Burley Griffin,
  • a Guinness World Record attempt for ‘Most Dogs Wearing Bandanas’,
  • a dog agility course,
  • “Go for Gold” themed dress up competition,
  • fly ball,
  • live music,
  • over 70 stalls, and loads of other activities.

Funds raised on the day will go directly to animals in need of care, treatment and rehabilitation at the RSPCA shelter in Weston. The money raised, via registrations, merchandise sales, fundraising, and donations at the event are vital for the day-to-day operations of the shelter, supporting the animal cruelty Inspectorate and providing education programs to the public.
