On Fadden Pond with Nicole Lawder

Nicole at Fadden Pond

THE Liberals’ Nicole Lawder has organised a team to clean up the Fadden Pond precinct in Fadden on Clean Up Australia Day this Sunday.

“Rubbish in and around Fadden Pond is an ongoing concern and after organising a clean up last November, we’ll be using Clean Up Australia Day this Sunday as another opportunity to revitalise the area,” Nicole said.

“Sunday will mark the 25th Clean Up Australia Day and it’s a great opportunity for residents to focus on their local area. Every pair of hands will help to make Canberra a cleaner more vibrant and better place to live.

“The park surrounding the Fadden Pond has been the subject of previous Clean Up Australia Day campaigns and is utilised by young families. The simplicity of cleaning up rubbish is something that makes a big difference to the lives of residents,” Ms Lawder concluded.

Nicole Lawder will be at the Fadden Pond on Sunday from 1-3pm.
