Refugee protest takes to the skies over Canberra

IT’S been a year since Reza Berati was killed in immigration detention on Manus Island.

Skywriters have it seems been taking to the sky all over Australia to make the case against the mandatory detention of asylum seekers.

Canberra was not left out with a slogan this afternoon “Close Nauru”.

Both GetUp! and LoveMakesAWay have been making much of this on social media.
