Sex on toast in Civic

SEX on Toast are a popular 10-piece synth-funk group who specialise in early 80s funk, jack swing, improvisation and soul.

Based in Melbourne, their choreographed stage act, arrangements, larrikinism and ‘danceability’ have nonetheless made them a household name across the country.

2014 saw the release of their self-titled debut album, featuring the lead singles “Takin’ Over” and “Hold My Love”, accompanied by music videos from Peter Savieri.

This year has seen the release of the EP “Ready” and the single “Oh Loretta”.

Now Sex on Toast are heading for the Transit Bar in Civic this Wednesday August 19, threatening to deliver “their trademark form of immaculately perverted pop-funk to the nasty people of the world.”

Who could resist that?
