Skywhale getting frisky over Galway

Canberra’s centennial gift to the world, the beloved Skywhale has not been seen in these parts for some time.

Fortunately from distant Galway in Ireland, Cam has alerted us to her latest antics.

It was a little windy and Skywhale was tethered, so she blew around a bit, but as far as I’m aware she survived. She was visiting Ireland as part of the Galway International Arts Festival.

Canberrans can be proud in the knowledge that this is what our city will be remembered for.
