Some top tips for dog park etiquette from TAMS

TERRITORY and Municipal Services have been moved to produce a rather delightful video of how best to enjoy Canberra’s very popular dog parks.

Dog parks are a great way to exercise and socialise dogs.
Here are some simple tips to make your stay and your dog’s stay more enjoyable at the dog park.
Always watch your dog.
Clean up after your own dog and bring a bag to do so.
Remove your dog from any aggressive situations.
Walk around with your dog rather than staying stationary and sitting.
Supervise children carefully.
Ask before patting someone else’s dog.
Enjoy the company of other dog owners.
