police

A 43-year-old Victorian man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday, 2 May 2016 charged with accessory to murder.

The man was arrested yesterday (Saturday, 30 April) as an accessory after the fact to the murder of a 52-year-old Andrew Carville, whose remains were located in Majura on 19 November 2015. This follows Wednesday’s (27 April) arrest of a 28-year-old Kaleen man who has been charged with the murder of Mr Carville.

The police investigation into the murder of Andrew Carville is ongoing and homicide detectives cannot rule out further arrests.

Anyone else who may have further information in relation to the murder is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter Pages.
