ACTOR, author and entertainer William McInnes is coming to the National Film and Sound Archive next week.

He’ll be here  to launch his new collection of yarns “Full Bore” and will be  at the NFSA for an author talk and book signing.

One of Australia’s all-time favourite TV actors, famous for roles including in “Blue Heelers” and “SeaChange”, McInnes takes a light-hearted look at the Aussie obsession with sports and pop culture in “Full Bore”, billed as “truly Aussie stories: about us, and about the things and the people in our lives”.

Some fans may not know that McInnes is also a prolific writer, seen in his books, “A Man’s Got to Have a Hobby” (2005), “Cricket Kings”(2006), “That’d Be Right” [2008], “The Making of Modern Australia” (2010), and “Worse Things Happen at Sea” (2014).

William McInnes author talk and book signing, at the National Film and Sound Archive, 5.30 pm, Tuesday  November 15. The admission price includes refreshments, discussion and signing. Bookings to trybooking.com or at the door.
