Alleged Fluffy fraudster to face court

A MAN will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday, May 12) charged with a fraud related offence.

Police will allege that the 54-year-old Deakin man produced a document that falsely represented to a home owner that ‘Mr Fluffy’ asbestos had been located in the residence.

The man has been summonsed to appear before Court where he will be charged with producing a false/misleading document.

If you are concerned about advice you have received regarding ‘Mr Fluffy’ asbestos or have paid to have ‘Mr Fluffy’ asbestos removed privately, please contact the Asbestos Response Taskforce on 13 22 81.
