ANU graduates are world favourite

THE Australian National University is producing the nations most employable graduates, with students even demanded of from overseas employers. ANU

The latest “Global Employability University Ranking”, published by the Times Higher Education, rated ANU, for the fourth time, as Australia’s top university for graduating students to receive a job after their degrees.

Acting ANU vice-chancellor professor Margaret Harding says the results reflected the strong global focus of education at ANU and the high quality of ANU students.

She says: “ANU students have a global outlook and the University strongly encourages its students to seek international experiences as part of their education.

“ANU also offers a world-class education and research with a focus on solving some of the great challenges confronting the world.

“This ensures ANU students are well equipped for the challenges of the modern workforce and makes them highly sought after by employers.”

The survey was commissioned by French human resources consultancy “Emerging” and conducted by German research firm “Trendence”.

The survey asked participants to define what they look for in graduates and choose the universities they believe produce the most employable graduates.
