MAX Cullen and musician Warren Fahey have joined forces to create a 90-minute play that sees the two legendary literary characters, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson, having a drink at the Leviticus Bar and Grill just near the Pearly Gates while yarning about the old days. THE Australian Theatre for Young People is coming to town with “Sugarland”, a play that follows the lives of five teenagers and their local youth worker in remote Australia. Playwrights Rachael Coopes and Wayne Blair undertook a series of residencies in Katherine, NT, and the result is this optimistic new play. THE Golden Guitar-winning and ARIA Award-nominated band Mustered Courage had its genesis when two of its founding members met at ANU School of Music in 2002.
