Big burns planned for Namadgi

THE ACT Parks and Conservation Service advises that prescribed burns will be conducted tomorrow, Wednesday 30 March 2016, in Namadgi National Park, weather permitting.

Prescribed burning activity is due to commence tomorrow at:

  • Bendora House, in the northern end of Namadgi National Park near Bendora Road (28 hectares).
  • Honeysuckle, south of Honeysuckle Creek and Apollo Road, west of Orroral Road, Namadgi National Park (2324 hectares).
