ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Burns Club in Kambah early this morning (11 June, 2016).

About 12.18am, two males entered the club on Kett Street, jumped the reception counter and entered the connecting bar.

Armed with a kitchen knife, one of the male offenders demanded staff hand over money from the register.

A staff member complied with the offenders demands before both males fled the area on foot with a sum of cash.

Both males were wearing dark clothing with dark face masks.

This is the second aggravated robbery to occur at the Burns Club within two weeks and police are examining if the two incidents are linked.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 5971981. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
