Canberra business wins national award

TBA Finals - 2016-130CANBERRA business, iSimulate, which provides medical simulation technology, has won the best Micro Business in Australia award.

The company won the national award at at the Telstra Australian Business Awards in Sydney on Friday.

It uses the best of current mobile technology to create medical products that are more advanced, simpler to use and more cost effective than traditional simulation solutions.

Company co-founder and CEO Peter Mckie believes “we are at the forefront of the ideas boom, as advances in technology increasingly influence our culture.”

“We realised five years ago that an iPad was a lot more than just a touch-screen computer; it was a device that could be used to lead the way in medical simulation,” he says.
