police

ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses following the aggravated robbery of a vehicle at Stromlo High School in Waramanga earlier today (Thursday, 21 April).

About 11.45am, ACT Policing received a report that a male offender, armed with a knife approached another male and demanded his vehicle.

The alleged offender assaulted the male and then fled in the vehicle. Police have since undergone an extensive search but have not located the vehicle or offender.

The alleged offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm (5’7”) tall, of slim build, with dark hair. He was wearing a bright coloured singlet and may be travelling with another male.

The car is a blue 2009 VE Holden Commodore Sedan with ACT licence plates YKP10R. The vehicle was displaying red provisional plates at the time of the robbery.

Police are seeking public assistance and witnesses to the incident.

If you witnessed this incident, or you see this vehicle, do not approach the vehicle or the occupants and contact police on 131 444.
