THE ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) completed the clean up from Monday night’s hailstorm around midnight last night.
There were a total of 543 calls for help from the Canberra community as a result of the storm.
The response to attend so many jobs in just over 24 hours was thanks to the dedication of ACTSES volunteers and ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters with help from TAMS crews and NSWSES Southern Highlands units.
