THE World Curry Festival is returning to Canberra.

CEO of In The City Canberra Jane Easthope says that the festival, taking place along City Walk from Friday July 8 to Sunday July 10, is a chance to get out of the house this winter and be immersed in the delights of an authentic culinary tour.

“Following the success of the 2015 World Curry Festival, this year’s event will be bigger and better,” Jane said.

“Canberrans and visitors will be able to come down and be treated to a mix of cultures, aromas and spices in a large indoor heated marquee.

“The first World Curry Festival was incredibly popular last year, and we are so excited to be expanding the event to run over three days this year.

“With stalls from India, Thailand, Laos and Ethiopia as well as traditional sweets, beer and curried Gozleme, there’s sure to be a dish for even the most complex of palates.

“The World Curry Festival draws foodies from far and wide and visitors to the festival will be treated to a smorgasbord of music, colour, fragrances, international beverages, cooking demonstrations and cultural performances all under the backdrop of Canberra’s sensational Winter Festival in the City.
