WHILE art teachers gathered yesterday for their national conference at the NGA, a group of dedicated ACT school teachers headed for QL2 Dance Studio in Gorman Arts Centre to join Ausdance ACT’s professional learning ‘Move Up’ workshops.
Move Up! is a teacher quality institute registered program of practical dance workshops for primary, high school and college teachers complemented by supporting material, resources and school visits to assist teachers implement the dance elements of the national curriculum.
Ausdance ACT is the presenter of the two-day program, which features workshops in contemporary dance (Sarah Boulter), hip hop (Phly Crew), commercial styles (Neale Whittaker) and musical theatre (Daniel Dolling).
