police

ACT Policing were generally satisfied with the overall behaviour of the crowd at the annual ‘Groovin the Moo’ festival which was held at the University of Canberra yesterday (Sunday, 24 April 2016).

Police took two people into custody; one person for intoxication and disorderly behavior and one person for assault. A security guard was assaulted after directing an intoxicated person to leave the event.

Police also made five drug seizures.

ACT Policing praised the event organisers as being well prepared and making it a safe and enjoyable occasion for all who attended.
